Democratic Socialists are running for office across the country. This page will be updated to include the outcomes of candidates and ballot initiatives endorsed by DSA National in 2021.

These candidates are avatars of the working class: school teachers, community organizers, activists, union members. Local wins provide tactical dexterity for the organized working class to take control of public resources. Small wins breathe life into local movements and help tip the scales in favor of organized masses.

Local DSA chapters occasionally choose to endorse progressive or unideological candidates, and not all candidates apply for National endorsement. This resource is only tracking nationally endorsed candidates. This page was prepared by the Metro DC DSA Chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America.

12/18 Note: All elections counted. 27/39 nationally endorsed races were successful.
